Two decades of practice, one small batch at a time
I am Melissa Foreman, a practising homeopath and naturopath. For more than twenty years I have worked in natural health, beauty and essential oils, and I still see clients from home in Brighton.
My training is a BSc (Hons) in Homeopathy, and I am a member of the Society of Homeopaths. That background shapes how I think about skin, and about what belongs in a bottle.

I also hold a diploma in Naturopathy from the College of Naturopathic Medicine, and I'm fully insured to practise, working to the Society's code of ethics and best practice. It's the same rigour I bring to formulating Pūraka — every ingredient has to earn its place.
Away from the clinic and the kitchen table, you'll usually find me on a Padel court, on my yoga mat, or with a biography on the go. I've practised homeopathy for twenty-five years now — it's safe, non-toxic, and gentle enough to sit alongside any other treatment, which is exactly the philosophy behind everything I make.

02The why
I could not find the range I wanted, so I made it
Nothing on the shelf reflected everything I had learned in practice. I wanted skincare built the way I work with clients — considered, unhurried, with every choice made for a reason. So I started making it myself, a batch at a time, until it was right.
03The difference
Every product contains homeopathic tissue salts
Schuessler salts sit in every Pūraka formula, alongside organic botanicals. No other skincare brand works with them. It is the part of the range I am asked about most, and the part I would not leave out.
They are there for the same reason as everything else: because they earn their place.
