Formulated by Melissa Foreman, a homeopath and naturopath of over twenty years, and made by hand in small batches. Every ingredient is here for a reason.

Key Ingredients
One of the closest plant oils to the skin's own sebum. It absorbs quickly and deeply without greasiness, and is rich in palmitoleic acid, a fatty acid that naturally declines as we age. It helps skin feel supple and comfortable through the day.
Light and nourishing, and naturally rich in vitamins A and E. It softens and conditions without clogging pores, and is particularly kind to sensitive and mature skin.
A stable, plant-derived moisturiser that mirrors the skin's own oils. It helps skin retain moisture and leaves a smooth, non-greasy finish, which makes it an ideal daily base.
Peptides drawn from the lupin plant, chosen to support the appearance of firmness and resilience in skin that has started to lose its bounce.
CO2 extraction captures a fuller spectrum of a plant's active compounds than heat-based methods. Here they work on the look of smoothness and evenness in the skin's surface.
An antioxidant pairing. Vitamin A supports the look of renewed, refined skin; vitamin C helps brighten the appearance of uneven tone. Together they form the anti-ageing backbone of the formula.
Jasmine is warm and uplifting, neroli soft and floral, frankincense grounding and resinous. Blended deliberately for the start of the day rather than added to mask a base note.
What are homeopathic tissue salts?
Twelve mineral salts, prepared homeopathically, first set out by Dr Wilhelm Schuessler in nineteenth-century Germany. Melissa has selected specific salts for their place in a skincare formulation, where they support the skin's moisture balance and condition.
They are used in very few skincare ranges — and they are in every Pūraka product.

- Cleanse with Pūraka Cleansing Wash

- Warm a small amount of Active Day Cream between your fingertips
- Massage gently into face and neck, working upwards
- Allow to absorb fully before SPF or make-up
Use each morning as the last step in your routine. This cream contains no SPF — apply your sun protection over the top.
A 60ml jar lasts most people around 8–10 weeks with daily morning use.
About Pūraka
Pūraka was made by Melissa Foreman, a practising homeopath and naturopath with over twenty years in natural health, beauty and essential oils. She made this range because she couldn't find one that reflected what she'd learned.
Every product is made by hand in small batches, housed in amber glass, and is vegan, cruelty-free and free from synthetic fillers, petrochemicals and animal products.
Pūraka means inhale in Sanskrit.

Processing time
Orders are processed and dispatched within 1–3 working days of payment being confirmed. You'll receive an email confirmation once your order is on its way.
UK delivery
We ship across the United Kingdom via Royal Mail. All orders are sent on a tracked service, so you can follow your parcel from dispatch to your doorstep.

Delivery costs are calculated at checkout based on your order weight and chosen service.
International delivery
We currently ship to selected international destinations via Royal Mail. Delivery times and costs vary by location and will be displayed at checkout. Please note that international orders may be subject to customs charges or import duties, which are the responsibility of the customer.
Tracking your order
All orders are sent on a tracked service. You'll receive a tracking number by email once your order has been dispatched.
Delays
Whilst we do our best to meet the above timeframes, occasional delays may occur due to high demand, carrier issues, or circumstances beyond our control. If your order hasn't arrived within 10 working days of dispatch, please contact us, and we'll look into it straight away.
Lost or missing orders
If your order appears to be lost in transit, please get in touch at hello@purakaskincare.com, and we'll work with Royal Mail to resolve it as quickly as possible.
Packaging
All Pūraka products are shipped in packaging that reflects our commitment to sustainability. We use minimal, recyclable materials wherever possible.

Returns & Refunds
We want you to love every Pūraka product. If for any reason you're not satisfied, we're here to help.
Unopened products
If you change your mind, we accept returns on unopened, unused products in their original condition within 60 days of purchase. Please get in touch at hello@purakaskincare.com, and we'll guide you through the process. Return postage is the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.
Damaged or faulty items
If your order arrives damaged or there's a fault with your product, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order with a photo and a brief description. We'll arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.
Opened products
For hygiene reasons, we're unable to accept returns on opened or used products unless they are faulty.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll process your refund within 1–7 working days back to your original payment method. You'll receive an email confirmation when it's done.
